Nancy and Harold Married in Belize!! Belize Destination Wedding Photographers

Well, it was the trip of a lifetime!  We headed down to Belize for Nancy and Harold’s wedding taking our kids with us too!  Belize is such a unique place from the Mayan ruins inland, to the gorgeous island cayes off the coast!  Spectacular!

The wedding day was perfect, no surprise there, and wasn’t even as hot as we thought it might be!  The ceremony was at a hall decorated so lovely by family and friends.   It was a joyous occasion, with about 200 people witnessing the beautiful ceremony.  Harold’s vows to Nancy were tear jerking, I had to wipe my eyes a couple times, just to see clear through my viewfinder!!

Then the fun part.  Creative bridal photos in BELIZE!   We first stopped by the ice cream shop, to cool down, then on to a little fire hall to capture some fun bridal party photos by the fire truck.  Nancy’s Dad had a cool orange truck which added a lovely color splash to some more photos.  Then on to the epic Belize style ferry!  Hand pulled by one man, only 3 cars at a time could get across!  Such an experience you cannot find in Canada!   Then up a crazy pot holed road to the Cahal Pech Mayan Ruins, where we caught the last rays of the sun before they set.  Simply magical.

The San Ignacio Resort and Hotel was the reception location, which I would highly recommend!  The staff was exceptional, as was service and venue.  The reception ballroom was decorated beautifully with  hand picked tree branches draped with beads, lovely table runners and chair sashes.  We enjoyed the delicious food and dessert, and then headed down to the pool and captured Nancy jumping in!! A mini dress session, so much fun!  Enjoy this amazing Belize destination wedding captured Hanafoto style!

Nancy’s mom made every single one of these 15  dresses!Candy bar!I was so in love with this little guy… so cute!!!!!!There were just so many cute little kids!Cute custom, the best man and maid of honour went around and collected money in the bride and grooms’ shoes!and…Splash!
