Christmas Give-Away!
We all know how hard it is to keep your pictures organized on your home computer so as a little present to those who take pictures i am including here a free Christmas give-away of a full folder structure that I personally use – I hope it will help you to keep your treasured moments organized better on your computers
Please download the 3.5mb .zip file for 2011 here: 2011_HanaFoto_folder_structure.zip
basically it goes like this:
- 2011
- 2011_01_January
- 2011_01_01_New_Years_Day
- 2011_01_02_Family_Trip
- 2011_02_February……etc
- 2011_01_January
This way all your images will be listed in chronological order (by adding _01 for Jan and _02 for Feb – it will make your computer to list those in order)
Also here is another priceless tip: BACKUP YOUR FILES & IMAGES!!!! – after each outing, special occasion or holiday back up your images on TWO external drives – these days you can get a 1TB drive for under 80$, say like this one. This way you can kee p one in your house and in a safe or off-site. This way if your computer gets corrupt, crashes or what ever – your images and data will be safe.
