Mahfam & Arya Married! Calgary Persian Wedding Photographers Silver Springs Golf Course

Wow, can Persians ever party!!

Mahfam and Arya are a delightful couple who met at the U of C and love nature and the mountains. We enjoyed the start of the wedding day as Mahfam was very organized and her timing was perfect! She looked stunning in her dreamy tulle dress that waved around her as she walked. The first look was so cute, as Arya turned to see his bride he was in awe! We then headed out for a few hours of creative photos with the couple and their wonderful bridesmaids and groomsmen. From Inglewood to downtown Calgary and then to University of Calgary and Silver Springs. At the Silver Springs Golf Course we enjoyed the eye candy of the Sofreh Aghd – the wedding ceremony table – adorned with little delicacies and symbolic items. The ceremony was lovely as sugar was shaken over their heads and pinkie fingers were dipped in honey. The beautiful wedding reception room was decorated with gold and orchids, by Ana of Beso Event Design and Flowers by Janie. The party started even before dinner, with a perfect first dance and then a 45 minute continuation! With whetted appetites, the guests enjoyed a delicious buffet by the Silver Springs staff. Much more dancing ensued, and I believe the bride and groom didn’t EVER leave the dance floor!! Yes. Persians PARTY HARD! Enjoy this awesome Persian Calgary wedding!
