Good day! I had the opportunity to take on a different kind of job – this time it was to restore a 50+ year old image! I met Joan at breakfast at a local A&W where she is also one of the regulars there 🙂 – as we chatted about my photography she asked if I would restore an image for her – that it is the ONLY picture she has from her childhood – I readily agreed but when I saw the original print I thought that this will be quite the challenge as the image came in 3 pieces, abundant cracks, scratches and coffee cup stain circles. Nonetheless it went fine – it took over 5 hours of photo shop magic to restore it to my liking – here are the results:
