Faryelle and Ferass Married! Calgary Lebanese Arabic Wedding Photographers

It was a beautiful sunny warm day in February, yes in Calgary!  What a perfect day for a wedding!   In the Lebanese culture the groom goes to the bride’s house to pick her up.  Faryelle looked just like a princesses coming down the stairs on her father’s arm.  Ferass’ lifted the veil gave her a kiss and the party was on! Crowds of family gathered and trilled blessings and well wishes.  They then headed to Ferass’ house where the couple was showered with confetti, rice and candy.   As in Lebanese tradition, the couple then each stuck a heart of dough over the door.  After much more dancing,  singing and eating we headed out for some bridal photos.   We found this amazing 50’s car,  which are always fun to shoot with, then to some sweet sandstone hoodoos at sunset!

The wedding reception was held at the Calgary BMO Center in the Palomino room which was decked out beautifully by One West Events.  We were welcomed by trees covered in lights, then as you headed into the ballroom white stems with crystals lined the walkway.  The sweetheart table was adorned with goblets hanging from the draped tent, filled with orchids and calla lilies.  The evening continued with speeches, dinner and of course, being Lebanese, some amazing dancing! From the youngest to the oldest, everyone was on the dance floor!   It was a wonderful day.  Congratulations again Faryelle and Ferass!
