Well folks, a lifetime dream of mine is close to fruition! One of my boyhood dreams is to watch airplanes land at the Princess Juliana Airport (SXM) on the island of St. Maarten, Netherland Antilles. To sit on Maho Beach with a refreshing beverage in my hand and watch Boeing 747 land a mere 20 meters overhead. The second week of February I will embark on a trip of a lifetime with my buddy Bryan to Barbados to shoot a couple Dress Sessions. With this opportunity at hand and St Maarten being in such proximity to Barbados, we had an excuse to make the trip. We will travel from Calgary to Dallas, then to Miami for 2 days visiting the Florida Keys and Everglades. Then from Miami to Barbados for 4 days. After that we will take a Liat Air flight to Antigua where we hope to see something in our 4 hr layover on our way to St Maarten. Our other flights will be on American Airlines – I hope they will be good to us 🙂
