Jen and Derek Married! Kananaskis Wedding Photographers

Jen was a dream bride!  So beautiful and natural.  I had the privilege to go to her beautiful home as she got ready for her wedding.  The details she put together were perfect.  I loved that she had something borrowed, something blue, something old and something new.  And her wedding boots were so awesome, nothing like I have ever seen!!!  (I like shoes!)

It was May in Alberta!  Jen and Derek both embraced the foggy, overcast weather as they reminisced of their home province Newfoundland.

Their beautiful wedding ceremony took place on the vista of the Kananaskis Golf Course, serenaded by a lone classical guitar.  The rain lightly sprinkled as Jen and Derek read each other their hand written vows and sealed it with a kiss.

We found some green ground cover near the golf course for a couple photos and then headed around with the party bus full of their closest friends and family.   I loved the birch tree forset where Jen and Derek rocked it for my camera!  Some fun shots of the boys were captured near Ribbon Creek, before the snow started and the temperature dropped to 0C at our last spot by a kananaskis waterfall.

I loved this wedding, as it showed how no matter the weather a wedding can be amazing and beautiful!
Enjoy!!
